fun new stuff at tokidoki.it, you can preorder those super cute flats!

i'm so sad that i'm so broke. :( i really like some of the new t-shirts~
speaking of shirts, they have a lot of tkdk shirts at Uwajimaya now. there's like a whole section for tokidoki stuff and it's kind of really exciting. :)

Actually. One more thing about shirts- do you remember a t-shirt called "bolle bolle" or something like that with the girl that has the cherry blossom tattoos on her neck blowing bubbles that have faces? I really want that shirt. But I don't think they have it online anymore?

and. if you watched America's Best Dance Crew.. i rooted for Beat Freaks. And now I know why. Haha

new bags in the area
Just thought I'd let everyone know that the Tacoma Mall Nordstrom has the new geometric girl print (and also leo and ombra) right now. You do have to ask for them, however, as they are not currently (as of today, anyway) being displayed on the floor. Apparently this is because they have more bags than they do places to display, so they have to rotate bags off the floor?

Anyway - I picked some up today, and they definitely had more. Thought I'd let everyone know!

tokidoki artist Simone Legno comes to Seattle!

tokidoki artist Simone Legno comes to Seattle!  The collaboration between Ride and tokidoki will be highlighted in the evo TimesInfinity Gallery for the month of December.  Opening night event will be an incredible opportunity to see the person behind the tokidoki movement and a broad collection of his work.  Join us for a beer, prizes, tokidoki/Ride products, wall mural by Simone, tunes, and a chance to win a piece of tokidoki art!

Dec 5th - 7pm, free event, all ages

evo TimesInfinity Gallery - 122 NW 36th St.

tokidoki means “sometimes” in Japanese. I chose a Japanese word because I love Japan. I love everything from the ultra modern happy face of Shibuya to the serious magic silence of Kyoto. I chose “sometimes”, because everyone waits for moments that changes one’s destiny. By simple chance or meeting a new person, tokidoki is the hope, the hidden energy everyone has inside that gives us strength to face a new day and dream something positive, that something magical will happen to us.

Kinokuya Bookstore
I was downtown Seattle just yesterday and I finally picked up a Mezzanotte Bacio! But the only reason why I actually left the store with one was because my bf bought it for me! :) Yay what a sweetie! Carnival is actually really cute in person.. it makes me wonder about how great Eco Mundo will look!
But anyway, so it turns out that the bookstore connected to Uwajimaya is starting to sell more tokidoki stuff. The last time I checked the only carried the older journals and moofia/cactus pups. Now they actually have a whole shelf almost dedicated to it, which includes the new journals, Skelatrino and Skelatrina, other cactus pups like Polpettina.. and they also have those Mozzarella and Sandy plushies!
I was hoping to not want to collect the vinyls.. but they are all just so cute!

p.s. if you like Final Fantasy, the bookstore also sells rubber ducks but instead they are rubber chocobos!!!! gah! ♥!

So the construction on the Southcenter/Westfield mall has finally finished and I had the chance to go there and see that there is a Metropark now... I didn't get the chance to stop in or anything, but does anyone know if they will be carrying tokidoki stuff as well?

hi! i'm jamie mae vaun! *waves* ^_^ well i just found this community, and i am very impressed to be a part of a seattle tokidoki community! i am going to recommend this community to my friend, rozi, because she is a certified tokidoki-a-holic! xD i am too, although lack of funds keep me from letting my addiction get out of hand!! i have been in love with tokidoki since i first saw the fall 2006 bags at Macy's! that was when they had the foresta and citta prints available! i unfortunately could not afford to get one at the time, and actually justgot my first tokidoki bag for christmas 2007!

so to introduce myself, i thought i would tell you guys what tokidoki bags i have thus far, and what is on my wish list!! :)

I currently have:
Transporto Campeggio
Audios Star Potatelefono

My Wish List:
Citta Rosa Ciao Ciao

I also really love the L'Amore, Foresta, and Pirata prints, but I am not sure what bags I would like of them!! I have a lot of friends who have tokidoki bags, and i don't want to copy them and have the same bag! ;)

So I also wanted to tell you guys that a few days ago I went to Trendy Wendy, and they have a really awesome Discoteca print dress that i think I am going to pick up very soon!! hopefully you all have shopped at Trendy Wendy before? One of the best places to find tokidoki in our area!

Well it is great to be a part of a community that shares my love of tokidoki, and let me know if any of you know of any great places to find tokidoki stuff, or if anyone has anything they are wanting to sell!!

If any of you kids went to Sakura-Con at the Seattle Convention Center, there are tokidoki stuff to be found there. Unfortunately, there's only Sunday left.. so who knows what's left. But I went there today and they had quite a number of t-shirts.. the most recent shirts they had were the Valentine's-esque ones.
They also had some figures too. :)

I wish I had more monies. haha

9:19 pm
Hi everyone! I just joined yesterday and I felt so special that my hometown has it's own lj community for Tokidoki! ♥
It looks like no one's really posted in awhile though.
Besides shopping online, I usually go to the Macy's in downtown Seattle or the Southcenter mall ..(which is now supposed to be "Westfield".. ) Are there any places in the general Seattle or south of that for Tokidoki stuff?

And one more thing! Is there anyone out there who owns a Tutti Scuola willing to sell? >:D

Vacanze sightings?
Does anyone know if any local stores have started carrying Vacanze yet?  I see a lot on ebay and online stores, but I'm SO picky about placement I'd need to see it in person to make sure it's perfect for me.  :)  Thanks!

Alderwood Nordstrom
Bargain Alert!

Alderwood Nordstrom has their Tokidoki stock on sale.  It's around 35% off, I think (I'm lousy at math).  I saw:

Bella ($86)- Notte, Fumo
Mamma Mia ($86)- Notte
Ciao Ciao ($109)- Tutti, Trasporto, Notte
Buon Viaggio ($109)- Notte, Famiglia
Gioco ($109)- Trasporto, Notte, Fumo

And either a Campeggio or a Cucciolo in Tutti (sorry, I didn't check the price).

I asked the salesperson if/when they'd be getting Vacanze in and she said that they don't know what they'll get in until it gets there.  But she seemed new/uncertain of herself, so I'm not sure if that is the final answer.

Trasporto @ Macy's Downtown
Downtown Macy's has Trasporto. As of today they had: Ciaos, Stellinas, Canguros, Scuolas, Nuvolas, Bambinones, and (I think) Campeggios.

lesportsac outlet sale this weekend
Hi all -

I went up to the Tulalip outlet mall this afternoon and the Lesportsac outlet has the tokidoki at 40% off retail price. They didn't have too much when I went - mostly adios star and pirata as well as a few blanco pieces - and it was pretty busy. Still, I thought I'd let everyone know about it in case they didn't already.

I'm having something of a tokidoki weekend: I've gotten 2 new bags, 2 hoodies, and 2 t-shirts (so far) .
